Upon landing at Keflavík International Airport, you'll be warmly greeted and taken to the Sky Lagoon, where you can unwind in geothermal waters with panoramic views of the North Atlantic, and the sea breeze mingling with the rising steam. After a refreshing soak, we’ll head to Reykjavik for lunch and hotel check-in. Once settled, we’ll explore the city’s landmarks, from the gleaming glass of Harpa Concert Hall to the towering Hallgrímskirkja Church, where a ride to the top rewards you with breathtaking views over Reykjavik’s colorful rooftops. Stroll along Laugavegur Street, absorbing the energy of the city through its vibrant street art and cozy cafés. Optional visits to museums, like the quirky Phallological Museum or the captivating Saga Museum, provide a glimpse into Iceland’s eccentric charm. Finish the day with an Icelandic dinner at one of Reykjavik’s many delicious restaurants, sampling fresh lamb or seafood before returning to your hotel for a good night's rest.

We start early, journeying along Iceland’s renowned Golden Circle. At Þingvellir National Park, walk through the dramatic rift valley between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates while learning about the site’s role in Icelandic history. This UNESCO site is a geological wonder and the heart of Iceland’s political heritage. At Geysir, the earth comes to life as Strokkur shoots boiling water into the sky every few minutes. We continue to Gullfoss, where glacial waters thunder into the canyon below, often accompanied by shimmering rainbows in the mist. After a hearty lunch nearby, we'll explore Brúarhlöð, a hidden gem shaped by ancient glacial floods. The day’s adventures don’t end there—soak in the secluded Hrunalaug hot springs before visiting the colorful Kerið Crater. We’ll spend the night in Selfoss, with the option for a lava cave tour or an evening of birdwatching at Flóahreppur.

After breakfast, we head to the south coast to explore some of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders. Seljalandsfoss allows for a unique walk behind its cascading waters, while nearby Gljúfrabúi is hidden within a mossy gorge, offering a quieter, almost mystical experience. At Skógafoss, the mighty waterfall creates clouds of mist, often forming vivid rainbows, and for those up for the climb, a stairway leads to stunning views from the top. We then visit Seljavallalaug, a secret swimming pool nestled in the mountains, before arriving at the puffin-populated cliffs of Dyrhólaey, where these comical birds nest in the summer. In Vík, we take a break for lunch before embarking on an ice cave tour to explore the shimmering blue chambers beneath the glaciers. As the day ends, we visit the surreal Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, famous for its towering basalt columns and dramatic sea stacks, before settling into our hotel in Vík for dinner.

Our day begins with a visit to the mysterious Yoda Cave, a rock formation resembling the famous Star Wars character. From here, we journey through the South Coast, taking in sights like Álftaversgígar, the world’s largest lava flow at Eldhraun, and the breathtaking Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, where ancient glacial rivers have carved out dramatic cliffs. We’ll stop for a scenic hike at Skaftafell to see Svartifoss, a striking waterfall framed by towering hexagonal basalt columns. As we continue, we explore the glacial lagoon at Jökulsárlón, where icebergs float peacefully, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. We’ll visit the glittering Diamond Beach nearby, where pieces of ice glisten against the black sand, before reaching Höfn for the night, where a delicious dinner and cozy hotel await us.

Our day starts before breakfast with an early visit to Vestrahorn, where the golden morning light paints the mountain and its reflection on the black sands creates a photographer’s paradise. After breakfast, we continue our journey along the stunning Eastfjords, stopping at the Hvalnes Nature Reserve and the rugged Lækjavík Beach, where the Atlantic meets Iceland’s dramatic coastlines. In Djúpivogur, we'll take a break to stroll through the village’s artistic sculptures before continuing toward Seyðisfjörður, a town surrounded by towering mountains and cascading waterfalls. A scenic drive through mountain passes and lush valleys brings us to Egilsstaðir, where we'll check into our nearby hotel and enjoy dinner. As the day draws to a close, we’ll visit Atlavík to capture the serenity of Lagarfljót Lake at golden hour.

Begin the morning with an invigorating hike to Hengifoss, where layers of red clay and black basalt create a stunning backdrop to Iceland’s third-highest waterfall. After breakfast, we relax at Vök Baths, where geothermal waters float on the surface of Lake Urriðavatn. Our adventure continues at Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall, where the thundering waters send tremors through the ground. On the way, keep your eyes peeled for reindeer roaming the wilds. From here, we explore the geothermal wonders of Krafla, where steaming vents and colorful mud pools dominate the landscape. After lunch near Lake Mývatn, we explore the eerie lava formations at Dimmuborgir and the hot spring cave of Grjótagjá, where we can take a dip inside the cave's geothermal pools, before making our way to Húsavík for a restful evening.

After breakfast in Húsavík, we set out for a whale-watching adventure, where humpbacks, minkes, and even blue whales grace the seas. Afterward, we drive to Akureyri, with a stop at the stunning Goðafoss waterfall, where history and nature intertwine as pagan idols were once thrown into its waters during the Christianization of Iceland in 1000 CE. Lunch in Akureyri offers a chance to explore the botanical gardens or enjoy the town’s lively atmosphere. From there, we head to the picturesque fishing village of Siglufjörður, stopping along the dramatic coastal drive, where we’ll spend a tranquil evening exploring the town’s historic charm and enjoying dinner at our cozy hotel.

We begin our day with a drive along the Trollaskagi Peninsula, where dramatic fjords and towering peaks provide stunning scenery. In Hofsós, take a dip in the scenic infinity pool overlooking the fjord or explore the Icelandic Emigration Center. Afterward, we head to the Glaumbær turf houses to get a taste of traditional Icelandic life, stopping by Grafarkirkja (the oldest church in Iceland). As we journey toward Breiðabolsstaðir, the countryside offers expansive views of the peaceful farmlands and distant mountains. We’ll head to Hvítserkur, a striking basalt sea stack that rises dramatically from the ocean like a petrified troll. This unique formation is a haven for birdlife, and you might spot seabirds nesting along its craggy surface. Dinner will be served at our hotel, made from locally sourced ingredients, ensuring a warm and authentic end to the day.

After breakfast, we set out for the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, making a stop at Kolugljúfur Canyon, where a rushing river has carved a stunning gorge. We’ll continue to Stykkishólmur, a charming fishing town where we can explore the harbor and visit the Volcano Museum. The adventure continues around the peninsula with stops at Kirkjufell, Iceland’s most photographed mountain, and the nearby Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall. We’ll journey into Snæfellsjökull National Park, where we explore the lava fields and admire the glacier-capped volcano that inspired Jules Verne’s Journey to the Center of the Earth. After a full day of exploration, we arrive in Hellnar for a peaceful evening and dinner.

Today we complete our exploration of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, starting with a short coastal walk in Arnarstapi, where jagged sea cliffs and dramatic rock formations create a picturesque setting. Here we'll hop on a specially equipped snow-cat and make our way to the top of the Snæfellsjökull glacier or as close to it as possible. A visit to the iconic black church at Búðir adds a touch of serenity, with its striking contrast against the volcanic landscape. We’ll stop at Hvammsvík Hot Springs for one final relaxing dip before returning to Reykjavik. Depending on the time, the afternoon and early evening are free to explore the city at your leisure, whether revisiting your favorite spots or shopping along Laugavegur. In the evening, we gather for a farewell dinner, reflecting on our incredible journey through Iceland’s awe-inspiring landscapes.

After saying farewell to your fellow travelers and completing the airport drop-off, your adventure continues as we head to the rugged and lesser-explored Reykjanes Peninsula. This geothermal wonderland is full of volcanic craters, bubbling mud pots, and dramatic coastal cliffs. We’ll visit the famous Gunnuhver hot springs, where steam rises from the earth, and explore the striking cliffs of Reykjanestá, home to a historic lighthouse. The nearby Bridge Between Continents offers a chance to literally walk between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. After lunch, we visit Lake Kleifarvatn, a serene and often overlooked gem nestled among dark volcanic landscapes. As the day winds down, we’ll return to Reykjavik for a relaxing evening. Enjoy dinner at one of the city’s top restaurants or take a stroll along the waterfront before settling in for a restful night at your hotel.

Today, we embark on an unforgettable journey into the wild beauty of the Westfjords. After breakfast, we head to Stykkishólmur, a charming fishing village that serves as the gateway to the Westfjords. From here, we board the ferry for a scenic ride across Breiðafjörður Bay, where countless small islands and rocky outcrops create a striking landscape. Keep your eyes peeled for seals and seabirds as we cross the fjord. Upon arriving on the other side, we continue our journey to Patreksfjörður, a remote village framed by towering mountains and the vast Atlantic Ocean. After checking into our hotel, you’ll have the rest of the evening to explore the town or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Dinner will be a cozy affair at a local restaurant, where you can savor the freshest seafood caught just offshore.

Today is all about exploring two of the Westfjords’ most iconic natural wonders. We start with a visit to Látrabjarg, the largest seabird cliff in Iceland and one of Europe’s biggest. These towering cliffs are home to millions of puffins, guillemots, and razorbills during the summer months, creating an unforgettable spectacle of wildlife. As you walk along the edge, the views over the ocean are nothing short of breathtaking. After a packed lunch with these incredible views, we make our way to Dynjandi, a majestic tiered waterfall often called the “Jewel of the Westfjords.” The cascading water tumbles down a mountainside in a series of beautiful steps, offering numerous viewpoints as you hike up for a closer look. We then continue to Ísafjörður, the largest town in the Westfjords, for hotel check-in. Before settling in for the evening, we’ll visit Bolungarvik, one of the oldest fishing outposts in Iceland, to explore its rugged charm and coastal beauty. Dinner in Ísafjörður will be another chance to enjoy the unique local cuisine, with fresh fish and other specialties on offer.

After breakfast, we set out to explore the remote and untouched Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, Iceland’s northernmost wilderness. With no roads or permanent settlements, this is as close to true wilderness as you can get. Choose between hiking the rugged trails that weave through towering mountains and lush valleys or simply relaxing and soaking in the serenity of this pristine landscape. Hornstrandir is home to Arctic foxes, seabirds, and breathtaking views across the fjords. After returning from our wilderness adventure, we’ll head south toward Hólmavík, stopping along the way for panoramic views of the fjords and beaches, with endless opportunities for stunning photography. As we near Drangsnes, we’ll take a relaxing dip in the famous Drangsnes Hot Tubs, natural geothermal pools that sit right on the beach. The warm waters provide the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. We’ll then continue to our hotel for the night.

After an early breakfast, we begin our journey back to Keflavík International Airport, traveling through the scenic fjords and valleys of the Westfjords one last time. We’ll stop for a final panoramic vista or two, soaking in the beauty of Iceland’s wild landscapes. Your Icelandic adventure comes to an end as you are dropped off at Keflavik International Airport for your return flight, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Westfjords and the diverse natural wonders of Iceland.
