Day 1: Journey to the Heart of the Amazon
Upon arriving in the Amazon city of Iquitos, you’ll be greeted by our team at the airport and transferred in a comfortable private vehicle. As we make our way toward the port in Nauta, a small riverside town on the Marañón River, enjoy a delicious lunchbox as you soak in the sights of the journey. In Nauta, you’ll receive a warm VIP welcome at our private port where the luxurious Delfin vessel awaits. Once aboard, you'll be introduced to your cozy suite, complete with orthopedic beds, cotton bathrobes, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with Spanish-style hot water showers. As the ship begins its voyage, take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the third-deck observation area, where you can enjoy an exotic cocktail prepared with regional fruits and Peru’s famed pisco. During the orientation, your naturalist guide will outline the exciting activities and wildlife you can expect to encounter on this Amazon adventure. As the sun sets over the Marañón River, take advantage of a spectacular photo opportunity as you witness the beautiful colors reflecting off the water.

Day 2: Wildlife Wonders of the Samiria River
In the morning, our skiffs will glide through the Samiria River, known for its rich biodiversity and home to an array of wildlife. Keep an eye out for the rare hoatzin bird, sloths, and playful troops of brown capuchin and squirrel monkeys. As the day transitions into evening, we’ll look for nocturnal creatures such as black and white caimans, fishing bats, and the elusive night monkeys. The Samiria River is also a popular feeding spot for pink river dolphins, so there’s a good chance we’ll witness them in action. Later in the day, we’ll visit the Amazon Natural Park, where you can embark on a nature walk to learn about medicinal plants. This region is one of the largest pharmaceutical reserves in the world, with hundreds of plant species used by local communities for healing. As a special highlight, you’ll meet Carola, a revered white shaman and spiritual healer who has devoted her life to helping jungle dwellers with her extensive knowledge of medicinal plants and spiritual practices.

Day 3: Adventures in the Yanayacu & Pucate Rivers
This morning, we’ll explore the pristine waters of the Yanayacu and Pucate Rivers, part of the well-protected Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Here, you’ll have the chance to see a diverse range of wildlife, from colorful macaws to the famed pink dolphins. For a more immersive experience, feel free to hop on a kayak or paddleboard and glide through the calm waters. In the afternoon, we’ll take a guided walk along the Fundo Casual jungle trail, which will lead us deep into the heart of the Amazon rainforest. The trail is teeming with exotic wildlife, including anacondas, rainbow boas, tarantulas, poison frogs, and even the elusive two-toed sloth. This jungle trek offers endless surprises at every turn, making it an unforgettable Amazonian experience.

Day 4: Exploring the Yarapa River & Amazonian Waters
We’ll begin the day by exploring the Yarapa River, a tributary known for its peaceful hidden lagoons and abundant wildlife. As we travel through this area, keep an eye out for hawks, terns, herons, and monkeys, including the unique Monk Saki, a monkey that looks like it's dressed for the Arctic rather than the Amazon. This day offers a perfect opportunity to reflect on the intricate ecosystem of the Amazon, where humans and wildlife coexist in harmony. In the evening, we’ll head to the confluence of the Marañón, Ucayali, and Amazon Rivers, better known as the “Unión de los Ríos.” Here, you’ll witness the striking colors of the water as the rivers converge—a spectacular scene that makes for a great photo opportunity. Toast to this memorable moment as we watch another Amazonian sunset.

Day 5: Farewell and Conservation at Amazon Forever
As we prepare to disembark at the port of Nauta, our crew will bid you farewell with heartfelt goodbyes. On the journey back to Iquitos, we’ll make a special stop at the Rescue & Rehabilitation Center of River Mammals, also known as Amazon Forever. Here, you’ll meet baby manatees and learn about the center’s important work in rescuing and rehabilitating endangered species. In addition to manatees, you’ll see other rescued animals that have been saved from illegal capture and learn how you can support this vital conservation effort. Afterward, our team will assist you with your luggage and airport check-in at the Iquitos International Airport. As you depart for Lima, we hope that your time with us has been filled with unforgettable moments and that the beauty of the Amazon remains with you long after your journey ends.
