Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of Punta Arenas. You will be provided with a map of the city's notable landmarks, such as Plaza Muñoz Gamero, the monument to Ferdinand Magellan, and the Nao Victoria Museum. We encourage you to explore the charming streets, and local shops or try a traditional Chilean treat. Punta Arenas is yours for your taking, In the evening you will be joined by your expedition leader at the hotel for dinner.

After a hearty breakfast, it is time for a scenic drive to Puerto Natales (approximately 3 hours), stopping along the way to enjoy the vistas. Once there, we'll enjoy a delicious Chilean lunch. Following lunch, we embark on a 1:30-hour journey to our home for the next few nights, Hotel Estancia El Ovejero. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Dinner will be served at 8:00 pm, and the evening is yours to relax in the living room or opt for an early night's rest in anticipation of the exciting days ahead.

Wake-up and breakfast times vary with the season, typically starting at 04:00 in the summer due to abundant daylight hours. We depart by 04:30, taking breakfast with us to enjoy later. Our expert tracker guides us to puma hotspots at first light, maximizing our chances of spotting these magnificent creatures. The mornings are dedicated to observing and photographing pumas against the stunning backdrop of the landscape. After the morning session, there's an opportunity for a short park trip for landscape photography and wildlife viewing. Depending on the season, lunch is either back at the hotel or a "box lunch" on the go.
After a brief rest, we head out for the afternoon session, either revisiting the morning's puma or seeking out a new one. If a morning scenic drive isn't possible, it can be incorporated in the afternoon. As daylight fades, we conclude the day, returning to the hotel for dinner before 21:30, ensuring a hot meal. During the summer, a box dinner might be arranged to stay with the pumas during their peak activity hours.

Pass over a picturesque route just 60 minutes from Punta Arenas to Estancia Olga Teresa, where Condor Hill promises a captivating excursion. Guided by our professionals, utilize telescopes and binoculars to witness the majestic condors in their natural habitat. The optimal visit time, starting from 2:00 p.m., ensures a higher concentration of these magnificent birds, with a colony boasting around 200, among the largest in South America. Opt for a 4-hour tour, featuring a moderately challenging hike at 100 meters elevation or a swift 25-minute 4X4 ride to the nearest viewpoint, offering a unique opportunity for remarkable photos. Don't miss this chance at Estancia Olga Teresa before the scenic return to Punta Arenas.
